Simarine VIA panel installed in a campervan – central hub for energy monitoring and control

Simarine VIA panel is a control interface that consolidates multiple functions in a single device:

  • Battery monitoring: displays voltage, current, SoC, and runtime at the present load.
  • Tank level readout: interfaces with fluid sensors to provide accurate levels for water, fuel, or wastewater.
  • Temperature sensors: monitor temperatures at multiple points within the installation.
  • Real-time consumption and generation: shows how much energy is currently consumed and how much is produced by charging sources (e.g., solar).
  • Digital circuit management: remote control of individually protected circuits.
  • Inclinometer: displays vehicle pitch and roll—useful for leveling the vehicle.

Simarine VIA is an integrated platform for energy management and multi-parameter monitoring in vehicles. The central unit is the SPDU‑52, which distributes DC power and monitors a range of devices, including lighting, the refrigerator, and various types of sensors (voltage, resistive).

The system monitors the house battery, which is charged by solar panels (through an MPPT controller) as well as from an external power source (AC charger). An inverter handles DC to AC conversion. All data—such as per-circuit current draw and battery charging status—are displayed on the main Simarine VIA panel.

Additional modules, such as the inclinometer and the SC303/SC503 shunt, extend the system with tilt monitoring and precise current measurement.

Simarine VIA is therefore a comprehensive solution for centralized power monitoring and control, giving the user full oversight of the electrical installation and more.
