A new, more powerful variant of the popular Orion XS model is joining the Victron Energy DC-DC charger family. The device with an output of up to 70 A (model 12/12-70) offers faster charging of the "leisure" battery from the alternator, while maintaining compact dimensions. This solution is designed for power systems in recreational vehicles (campervans), special vehicles, and on boats.

The new Orion XS redefines what we can expect from DC-DC chargers. Thanks to advanced cooling technology and an optimized design, the device achieves an efficiency of up to 98.5%, which means minimal energy losses and negligible heat emission.

- Built-in engine running detection: Automatic charging activation without the need to run additional wires or install external sensors.
- Compatibility with smart alternators: Safe operation with modern engines (Euro 5 / Euro 6) without overloading the alternator.
- 4-stage charging algorithm: Optimal and safe charging of every battery type, including LiFePO4, gel, and AGM.
- Parallel connection capability: You can connect an unlimited number of units in parallel to achieve even higher charging currents.
- Full GX and DVCC integration: The VE.Direct port allows direct connection of the charger to the Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX monitoring system.
- Advanced cooling: Hermetically sealed internal electronics rated IP65, combined with an external cooling fan (IP20), enables stable operation at full power.
